I never really had the intent on connecting the messaging of this story with anything that's recently happened in the real world, any connections with recent real life events are purely coincidental.
Realistically, the message of this short film has always been focused on addressing core issues within human behavioral patterns, and how they prioritize their own personal gain over anything else most of the time. Humans are just inherently selfish.

When it comes to who I want my target audience to be, if I had it my way, I'd want everyone, regardless of who you are, to watch this short film for yourself and learn the lesson it's trying to teach amongst its goofy visuals and animation. Realistically, though, I want my target audience to be fellow cartoon enjoyers and other such like-minded people. Not all cartoons are filled with loads of nonsense, contrary to popular belief. Even the silliest of TV shows can teach even the most valuable of lessons to its viewers, and I want to try and emulate that with my short film.
My goal with this short film is to teach the lessons that I have already mentioned, and hopefully the messaging will come across the way I intend it to.
