Mild Synthetic Procedures for Deoxygenation of Substituted Phenols and their Application in Drug Synthesis

Abstract:
I am looking at ways to remove the phenolic OH group (deoxygenation of phenols) and see how this helps to modify structure and hence activity of drug compounds. Currently, I am working on getting the procedure for removing these phenolic OH's and will move on to how this alters drug activity later.
