Jaime Avalos and Michael Gonzalez

Abstract: Generally, the winter season starts from November to February each year in the New England area. It lasts 3.5 months as the average. The freezing temperature force us to stay indoor during the winter season, especially COVID-19 pandemic. There are a lot of professional to work at home in order to keep the social distance. As we know, the indoor humidity and the indoor oxygen density is low after we turn on the electric heater in winter. Therefore, many plants need to plant inside the house. These plants generate a fresh air and keep the humidity density higher for the persons who work at home. Moreover, we need to water the indoor plants and monitor the plant's earth status frequently such as the plant earth dry or wet. In addition, there is a need of automation watering system for the indoor plants. It is more effective on our indoor life during the winter season.
