Financial Management – the FISCAL MANAGER/GRANTS COORDINATOR
The Fiscal Manager/Grants Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and implemention of all administrative functions of the Great Lakes Forest Fire Compact. As of December 31, 2007 this will no longer be a contracted position but rotated amongst member agencies on an annual basis. Wisconsin DNR will be the first agency to assume these duties.
The Fiscal Manager also performs all financial activities, grant activities and participant agreements by developing budgets and subcontracts; tracking, reconciling and reporting all financial transactions; ensuring full utilization of grant funds; identifying and writing new grant opportunities and applications; and completing all local, state and federal financial reporting requirements.
