Filer High School Membership History and Competition History
Lyndsey grew up in Fairfield and Kimberly, Idaho.
She played college volleyball at Treasure Valley Community College in Oregon. She has a A.A. General Studies from TVCC, a B.S. from Idaho State University in Health Education, and a Teacher Certification for Family and Consumer Science from Moreland University (Teach-Now Graduate School of Education). She is certified to teach Family and Consumer Science 6-12 in Idaho and Hawaii.
Lyndsey is the Family and Consumer Science teacher and the Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) Adviser. In addition, Lyndsey teaches one dual enrollment class with the College of Southern Idaho: WELLNESS 102 Family Health and Wellness; and teaches with the Idaho Digital Learning Academy. She is a member of IFCS, CTEI, ACTE, NATFCS, AAFACS, IDAFCS, and PNACAC.
Her top two favorite classes are Family Health and Wellness and Textiles. Textiles because of all the fun hands-on projects. Family Health and Wellness because she likes helping students learn about healthy lifestyle choices.
The top two favorite things that she loves about FCCLA is seeing the chapter members excel at their projects and attending State and Nationals with her chapter members; they make some great memories!
In her free time she loves to attend the temple, go on walks, do workouts, and attend all of her children's events.
