About Me

I have been an Agriculture Educator and FFA Advisor since 2001. I spent the first 15 years of my career teaching in a rural agriculture area in Northern California. In 2017 I moved to this wonderful community where I now teach several Agriculture courses here at Filer High School. I have roots in the FFA and gained a love of agriculture through my experiences in the industry and educating young people about where their food, fiber and fuel comes from. I love being an agriculture teacher and FFA Advisor. I coach several FFA Career Development Event Teams such as Agronomy, Forestry, Vet Science, Floriculture, Ag Sales, Soils, Food Science, Public Speaking and more. I love spending time outdoors, gardening and and raising livestock especially Boer Goats. My education includes:
