Coach Brandsma

I graduated from Wendell High School in 2009 and am glad to be back in the area I grew up. After graduation, I played football for Idaho State University for two years before transferring to the University of Idaho. After graduation, I moved to Phoenix, Arizona to work at EXOS. It was there that I started to develop a love for coaching. I was hired as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach and Freshman Head Football Coach for Horizon High School in Scottsdale, Arizona in 2016. Between 2016 and now I spent two years as the Freshman Head Coach, then another two as the JV Head Coach before making the transition to Varsity Assistant Coach. During this time I also decided to go back to school and get my teaching certificate. Once I completed that, I then went on and completed a Masters in Educational Administration.
