Wildcat News

The students here at Filer High School have been given the opportunity of a lifetime to create, design and publish their work through the Create Idaho program. Create Idaho has allowed for the students to receive FREE access through the Adobe Creative Cloud to Adobe products, both at school and at home. Students will be able to create in class and continue at home. This gives students a limitless opportunity to pursue their goals as creators/designers.

Wildcat News is a combination of courses

• Photoshop

• Graphics 1 & 2

• Video 1 & 2

Video 2 is the final course for the Wildcat News Broadcast. All of these topics use Adobe applications such as, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and After Effects to create the ultimate experience for students and the audience. The biggest goal I'd like all students in this class to strive for is to become an Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) through Certiport. Students will complete an exam at the end of the course that will certify them in the industry standards for each of the program exams completed. Each certification exam is free of coast to students and they have the opportunity to receive college credits through ISU.
