About Me:
I have taught music at all levels K-12. I have degrees from both Pacific Lutheran University and the American Band College. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy playing my clarinet in community bands. Outside of music, I love to read, hike, boulder, and knit. I live with my husband (who plays trumpet) and our fur babies (2 cats and 1 dog). I'm excited to have you be a part of the music department!

Why I Teach
My middle school band director is why I decided to become a teacher. She made the music room a safe place to learn, fail, and succeed. I strive to be that place for my students as well. Music builds community. Everyone is welcome in the music department, you belong here!Â
