Fife High School Student Resources

Trojan Time: FHS Homework help and computer access. Free homework help and computer use after school until 3:30 every Tuesday through Thursday in room 502.

Fife Flex: 40 minutes daily Tuesday-Thursday. Get help from teachers, work on homework, college applications, sign up for the SAT/ACT, study for tests, etc.

Assists students with a variety of issues, both academic and personal. Funds for free and reduced lunch students to help pay for school fees. Can refer students for more help and information for their particular situation.

FHS Nurse: Denise Porter 253-517-1100 x 24573

At FHS daily until 11:00 am. Assists students with a variety of medical and personal issues. Students not feeling well after 11:00 go to the attendance office to arrange to go home. Students are unable to rest in the nurse’s office when the nurse is not there.

School Resource Officer: Patrick Gilbert 253-517-1100 Fife Police Officer. Provides police assistance to FHS.

Maintains the FHS Career and College Center at, Fife High school, resources, career center. Assists with job search issues, college and career and the graduation project. FHS library, Tues and Thurs.

Indian Education Program: Martha Sherman 253-517-1000 x 25103. At FHS on Thursdays. Provides info and assistance regarding community resources, higher ed opportunities and cultural opportunities.

Tommy’s Closet: Gently used clothes free for students. See your counselor or administrator.

Food Pantry: See your counselor or administrator.

Free school supplies: See your counselor.

Family Resource Center: Located in a portable near Discovery Primary. 253-312-2080 or 253-517-1200. Open Wednesdays 12:00-3:00. Has a clothing and food bank, school supplies.

Mental health Counseling and/or Drug and alcohol Counseling: Free professional mental health and drug and alcohol counseling available for students who live in Pierce county, and have either Molina or Apple health insurance coverage. See your counselor for more information.
