Fierce Dance Academy Presents - LEGENDS, June 2025
Hello! We are so excited for recital season!! To help us make sure things run smoothly and efficiently, please read this material immediately and contact the studio with any concerns.
Participation in our recital is purely optional and is not necessary to continue classes. Participation, however, does mean adherence to the guidelines contained in the following pages.
We urge all first-time participants to view this information at your convenience to become familiar with the way our recital is organized. If you need a more detailed explanation about recital, please talk to a Fierce staff member as they will be able to help with any questions you may have about the recital. 2025 RECITAL INFORMATION

RECITAL DATES:
Thursday, June 12th - 7pm: Fierce Dance Academy Presents: LEGENDS (Show A)
Friday, June 13th - 7pm: Fierce Dance Academy Presents: LEGENDS (Show B)
Saturday, June 14th - 2pm: Fierce Dance Academy Presents: LEGENDS (Show A)
Saturday, June 14th - 7pm: Fierce Dance Academy Presents: LEGENDS (Show B)
DRESS REHEARSAL WEEK: (Held at Fierce Dance Academy)
June 2nd-June 6th: during regularly scheduled class times (5pm-9pm)
Each class will be assigned a particular time to appear for dress rehearsal, on their regularly scheduled class day (i.e. Jazz 2 will be on Monday, June 2nd). The schedule will be available shortly.
RECITAL TICKETS:
Recital tickets are $20 each (plus a service charge from the ticketing company, usually around $1-$2). Information on purchasing tickets will be available shortly. Dancers in the show are not required to purchase a ticket, but will not be permitted in the theater to watch during the show.
EVERY PERSON ATTENDING THE SHOW MUST HAVE A TICKET! (This includes parents and young children).
TUITION:
Tuition is calculated PER YEAR, NOT PER MONTH - from September through June.
For the convenience of our clients, we charge the tuition monthly. The number of times a class meets per month will vary between 3 and 5 times. There are no discounts for months that only have 3 classes in them as in the end they all meet approximately the same number of times throughout the season. There are no discounts for missed classes or snow days.
ALL accounts must be fully paid (aside from upcoming Summer events) in order for a dancer to participate in recital.
Should your child decide to drop out of a class, please provide written notice through email. Please send an email to info@fiercedanceacademy.com if you are withdrawing your student from a class so that Fierce Dance Academy staff and instructors can keep track.
COSTUMES:
Costume fees are due by March 1st. The fees are $90 per costume. In some cases, classes may be asked to provide their own costume pieces (pants, jeans, jackets, etc). If this is the case, the costume cost will be discounted to reflect this.
ABSOLUTELY NO COSTUME REFUNDS AFTER MARCH 1ST.
If your child is not participating in recital, please send an email to info@fiercedanceacademy.com BEFORE MARCH 1ST or fees will still be due.
NO costumes will be ordered without the costume fee paid. Anyone who pays after March 1st will also be responsible for paying an additional $20 for individual costume shipping.
MEASUREMENTS for Costumes will be taken by instructors during classes. Measurements are taken true to size and if a child’s measurements fall in the beginning to middle of the size on the size chart, they will be ordered that size. If their measurements fall at the end of the sizing chart, we will go up a size to allow for growth. If a student receives their costume with the correct size from the sizing chart but you feel they need a smaller/bigger size, you will be required to pay a $20 exchange fee.
