Meet Mrs. Johnson

Hello and welcome to 7th-grade science at Northern Hills Middle School! This is my 17th year of teaching, and I am thrilled to spend my days at NHMS! I have enjoyed opportunities teaching a variety of grade levels and content areas over the years, but I always consider middle school to be my niche! I am passionate about science and math and LOVE sharing that excitement with students! Building new relationships with students and their families is such a joy that I look forward to each year! I am really interested in technology and continuing my education to enhance our learning experiences together! Together, we will make mistakes, investigate, and question to adjust our thinking and deepen our understanding of science and the world around us! I look forward to having an amazing year getting to know you, and learning many new concepts! My husband and I have 4 children; Tanner, Irelynd, Presley, and Oaklyn. When I am not at school celebrating successes with students, I love making memories with family and friends, spending time outdoors, being active, trying new things, learning new things, reading, and meeting new people! I cannot wait to spend my year learning all about you!
