Coach Brad Anderson is a 2000 graduate for Forest Hills Central. Born and raised in Forest Hills, Coach Anderson returned to coach Ranger Wrestling in 2005. He is entering his 15th season as head coach of the varsity team and sports a 221 career dual victories. Coach Anderson teaches AP World History. In college, he competed on the Central Michigan University Wrestling team (2000-2004). In high school Anderson was a Junior National All American as well as a 2x State Champion. Coach Anderson enjoys spending time with his wife Amanda and daughters Zetta, Stella & Violet and running Spartan Obstacle Races.

Coach Nick Kacher is a 1997 graduate of Forest Hills Central. Coach Kacher is entering his seventh year in the Ranger Wrestling program. He has been an integral part of the Ranger's continual improvement since 2005. In 2012 he was crowned the Michigan State Games Open & Veteran Division Freestyle & Folkstyle champion at 152 lbs. Coach Kacher attended the University of Michigan and was a varsity letter-winner for the Wrestling Wolverines. Kacher also attended Loyola University in Chicago where he earned his law degree. He now works for the International Society of Primerus Law Firms. In high school, Kacher racked up Division II All State honors his senior year. Coach Kacher's family includes his wife Tara, two children Chase & Charlotte.
Name: Dan Anderson
Position: CMS Head Coach & Varsity Asst.
"Big Dan" Anderson has been involved with the Forest Hills Central Wrestling program since 1987. He has served in a variety of capacities, among others: FHWC President, MHSAA official, Team Michigan National Team Coach, FHC Assistant Coach, & GVSU Assistant Coach. He returned to Central Middle School in 2007 to assume the reigns of the middle school program. In just three years he has tripled the number of participants and brought the team to a new level of pride. Coach Dan Anderson is married to Kathy and is the father of Brad (FHC Head Coach) and Kit (FHC 2003 Graduate). In his free time "Big Dan" enjoys hunting, fishing, watching UFC & Deadliest Catch, traveling with his wife and being a grandfather.
Name: Dave Mills
Coach Mills was head coach of FHC Wrestling 1988-2000. During his tenure his teams won several district championships, two regional titles and at one point were ranked in the country. Coach Mills went on to launch and coach Grand Valley State University to five NCWA (National Collegiate Wrestling Association) championships. He is the proprietor of Mills Wrestling which has produced the "Getting Better, Faster" DVD wrestling series and the "State Champ Wrestling Camp" system. His DVDs are the top-selling wrestling instructional DVDs in the country. His son Jake is also a varsity coach. His middle son Joe works in Washington D.C. for IBM and his youngest son Matt is a junior at FHC. His wife Dede is an active team mom and involved with the FHC Mat Club.
Name: Rick Kacher
Position: CMS Co-Coach & Ambassador-at-Large
Rick Kacher is a legend in the Forest Hills Wrestling community. He is an original Wa'Hawk from Waterloo Iowa and was on the wrestling team with Olympic Champion Dan Gable. Rick has successfully coached a youth program, middle school team & high school team. He is the owner of the Takedown Attacks company that builds and sells the famous "ADAM" Takedown machine. Coach Kacher travels all over the country attending the best folkstyle & freestyle competitions in the USA. His vast experience with the sport spans four decades and he has helped the FHC program in many capacities.
Position: Junior Varsity Coach
Dan is now in his fourth year assisting and coaching the junior varsity squad. Dan wrestled at the perennial powerhouse New Lothrop and participated on three state championship teams. Dan's sons Austin and Spencer were four-year wrestlers on the high school team.
Position: Volunteer Assistant Coach & Program Promotion
Michael is an invaluable member of the coaching staff, helping out with the middle weights and upper weights as well as the inexperienced wrestlers. Michael is also responsible for the artwork, promotion, and poster work for our program.
Position: Mighty Rangers Coach
Mike was a state champion and two-time state finalist for FHC in the mid-1990s. He was a four-year starter at Michigan State University and qualified for "the Round of 12" at the NCAA Division I finals, twice. He spent over a decade living and working in Chicago but has returned to FHC with his wife and two children.
Position: Mat Club Treasurer & Alumni Coordinator
Justin was a state champion and two-time state finalist for FHC in 2000 & 2001. He was a member of the Central Michigan University wrestling team in college. Justin lived and worked in Chicago for 8 years before returning home to FHC with his wife Wende.
