Is there a fee for Summer School?

Summer School does have a registration fee of $150. If your family qualifies for free and reduced lunch, the fee is reduced to $80. Funding for summer school comes directly from the registration fee so it is important the fee is paid at time of registration.

Why was Summer School free last year?

The last three summers, due to COVID, the state of Oregon provided a grant to high schools to provide free summer school for credit recovery options. This year, the state did not provide the same grant so we have to return to how summer school use to be funded prior to COVID, which was funding paid for by registration fees.

Students who are part of the Migrant Program should check with their Migrant Program Coordinator to see if they qualify for free summer school.

Is there transportation to Summer School?

Registrations received by Friday, May 26, 2023 will be routed for transportation to and from high school, provided students live outside 1.5 miles from the high school. Be sure to note in your registration that you would like transportation. Registrations received after May 26th, may have a delay in transportation set up.

How do I register?
