Dog Walks & Dog Vacation Care

20-minute Speedy Stroll

Our 20-minute walk will allow your dog to stretch their legs, get some fresh air, take a potty break, and enjoy some quality human snuggles.


$28 / $6 for each additional dog


30-minute Sniff Walk

Smell is your dog’s primary sense. Our Dog Walkers will walk your dog around your neighborhood, stopping to smell the roses, hydrants, and bushes. Sniff walks help keep your dog’s brain focused and mentally fit. We will bring your dog home happier and more relaxed.


$34 / $6 for each additional dog


Puppy Care Program

Got a new puppy? Our program is perfect for helping your little one with potty training and socializing! It's for pups aged 8 weeks to 6 months. Our Dog Walkers will visit twice a day for 20 minutes each visit (once between 10 am–12 pm and again between 1–3 pm). All puppies are cared for individually or with their housemates.


$55 per day / $6 for each additional dog


40-minute Walk & Go Fetch!

Walk & Go Fetch! includes our Dog Walkers playing interactive games with your dog before or after their walk. This is for dogs that require more physical activity and exercise. Between all the sniffs and the play on this 40-minute visit, you will have a tired pup. Available before 11 a.m. or after 2 p.m. on weekdays and between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. on weekends.


$42 / $6 for each additional dog


Hour Adventure Walk

This is the perfect option for dogs who enjoy longer walks. Our Dog Walkers will take your dog to a nearby trail for an active walk. At the end of this 60-minute adventure, your happily tired dog will be returned home. This service is available between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. or 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m.—8 p.m. on weekends.


$59 / $6 for each additional dog


Almost Overnight Care

The Almost Overnight Pet Sitting service provides your pets with a two-hour evening visit and a one-hour morning visit the following day by one of our Pet Care Providers. Your pet will maintain its regular feeding routine, playtime, and exercise in the safety and comfort of your home. 


$170 / $10 for each additional pet


Dog Boarding

Your dog will be hosted in one of our Pet Care Providers' homes for its very own sleepover! Pet owners provide pet food, treats, and bedding when applicable. This service is for current clients only.


$225 per 24-hour period / $50 for each additional dog


Pet Taxi

Would you like some help getting your pet to the vet or groomer? One of our trusted Pet Care Providers can give them a ride! This service is for current clients only.

Cat Sitting & Small Pet Care

 A minimum once-daily visit for cats is required.


20-minute Quick Cats

This service is best for shy cats who prefer to be alone and live in single-litter-box homes.  During this 20-minute visit, our providers will ensure that litter, food, and water are refreshed without causing too much commotion for your reserved cat. This service can also be requested as a second daily visit for cats who need twice-daily feeding or medications.

30-minute Whisker Watch 

Many cats love attention, but did you know they also thrive on daily exercise? That's where we come in! During visits, our cat care providers use toys to encourage your kitty's natural prey movements and get them up and moving. Service also includes litter care and feeding as needed.

40-minute Paws & Play

This service includes the same daily exercise as our 30-minute cat care visit. It has additional time for homes with cats who prefer more human interaction or homes with additional tasks (3 or more litter boxes, special feeding or medical needs, etc.).

Meower-Long Cat Care 

This 60-minute visit includes plenty of time for homes with cats who need or prefer more human interaction or for homes with more cats and more tasks to attend to (3 or more litter boxes, special feeding, medical needs, etc.).

Almost Overnight Care

Our Pet Care Providers will visit your home for 30 minutes to check on your small pets. These visits include a home security check and, when applicable, playtime, feeding, litter box or cage cleaning, and yard waste cleanup.

New Client Onboarding Consultation

When you schedule service with us, we partner you with a Pet Care Team based on your pet’s needs and schedule. You’ll have the chance to meet one of the Pet Care Providers assigned to you before your visits begin.

Recommended for current clients who have a shy/anxious pet or a pet with detailed medical needs when a new Care Team member is added to your pet’s team.

Existing Client Sitter Shadow Consultation

Recommended for clients with busy schedules who have a shy/anxious pet or a pet with detailed medical needs when a new Pet Care Provider is added to your pet's Care Team. The new team member will accompany a current team member on a scheduled visit to learn how to best care for your pet and home.

Existing Client Virtual Consultation 

This type of consultation is recommended for current clients when updates have been made to their accounts, and they would like to review them with a Pet Care Team Member. *It is NOT recommended for clients with shy/anxious pets or pets with detailed medical needs.

Medication Administration

Giving medication is part of caring for your pet. We have Pet Care Providers who have experience with inhalers, pills, syringes, injections, sub-q fluids, feeding tubes, and more. 


FREE (unless a second sitter is required) with any scheduled visit.


A $20 fee will be added if a second Pet Care Provider is needed for medication administration.


Early/Late/Last Minute Fee

Do you need a visit before 8 a.m. or after 8 p.m.? Do you need to book a visit with less than 24 hours' notice? We can help!


$10 surcharge added to the visit


Home Access Policy

We prefer secure on-site access to our clients' homes via a lockbox, door-coded entry, a smart lock, or a concierge service. If on-site home access is unavailable or clients prefer not to have it, we will need two copies of your house key on file.


Home Access Fees

  • If a second copy of a key is not provided, a one-time $10 Key Duplication Fee will be added to the next scheduled visit. 

  • If a client does not have on-site home access and we need a Pet Care Team member to pick up or drop off a key to complete a service, a $20 Key Handling Fee will be added to that service. 

  • If a client requests a key return between scheduled services, a $20 Key Pickup/Drop-Off Fee will be charged.


Holiday Surcharge

There is an additional per-visit charge, which goes 100% to our Pet Care Providers for all services on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve Day, Christmas, and New Year's Eve Day. Other dates may qualify for additional holiday charges.

Cancellation Fees

Schedule additions or changes can be made through My Fetch, by email, or by phone.


Standard Services: 

For all non-ongoing or non-holiday cancellations requested without 48 hours' advance notice of the scheduled visits' start, a fee of 25% of the entire service order will be charged.


Holiday Services: 

For all holiday cancellations requested with less than 1 week's notice before the scheduled service start date, a fee equal to 50% of the entire service order will be charged. Holiday services include visits booked on or around the following holidays: New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve Day, and Christmas and New Year's Eve Day.


Ongoing Weekly Services:

  • To avoid a cancellation fee, request cancellation at least 4 hours before the scheduled visit’s start time.

  • For cancellation requests without 3 hours' notice before the scheduled visit's start time, 50% of the visit will be charged.

  • 100% of the visit will be charged for all cancellations with less than 2 hours' notice before the scheduled visit’s start time.


Discounts 

Discounts are available for clients based on the number of completed services per month.


  • 20% discount - 38 or more visits occurring during the month

  • 15% discount - 29-37 visits occurring during the month

  • 10% discount - 19 -28 visits occurring during the month

  • 5% discount - 12-18 visits occurring during the month

ℹ️ General Information

  • What areas do you cover?

Our Dog Walking and Pet Care services are available in the greater Silver Spring, Chevy Chase, Bethesda, North Bethesda, Kensington, Takoma Park, and Washington DC.

  • What kinds of animals do you care for? 

Loving all kinds and breeds of animals is the best part of our job. Cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, chickens, snakes, we’ve done it all!

  • What services do you provide?

Pet care is our passion. We love long walks in the woods, playing laser light chase, tricks for treats, and giving pets and snuggles. Cat and small pet visits, puppy care, dog walks — we have you covered. We are not trainers or groomers; we leave that to those with proper certification. We do know quite a few of them and are happy to provide recommendations if needed.

  • Who will care for my pet?

When you schedule service with us, we partner you with a small team of Pet Care providers based on your needs and schedule. You’ll have the chance to meet all team members before your visits, ensuring they are familiar with your pets’ routines. Whenever you schedule services, your core Pet Care Team will provide care for your pet. This way, your pet gets visits from someone you (and they) know, like, and trust every time. 

  • What does a typical visit look like when you’re with my pet?

Visits vary based on the pet’s needs and the client's requests. We love learning each pet’s unique personality and how to befriend them. What we can promise is that we will care for your pet as if they were our own, and you will receive a journal and photos detailing our time with your furry family member. 

  • Can you administer my pet's medication? What types of medications/medical care can you provide?

We believe that if a pet needs medication, that is part of the care of that pet. Therefore, we are one of the few (if not the only) pet-sitting services in town that does not charge extra to administer medication. The only exception is if more than one Pet Care Provider is needed to administer the medication. In that case, there is an additional $20 charge for the second provider.

  • Do you offer overnight stays?

Our services can be tailored to meet our clients’ needs. The only limitation is that we do not stay overnight in client homes. We do offer limited dog boarding in our Pet Care Provider’s homes and our ‘Almost Overnight’ service as alternatives. An ‘Almost Overnight’ is a two-hour evening visit in your home, followed by an hour-long morning visit the next day. This way, your pet can stay in the comfort of their home and still maintain the important routines they are used to.

  • Do you have a facility for daycare or boarding?

We have an office for staff training and general office work, but unfortunately, our landlord doesn’t allow pets! This means we come to you and care for your furry family members in the place where they are most comfortable — your home.

🗓️ Booking & Logistics

  • How do I sign up for services?

You can click on any of the “Schedule Service” or “Request Service” buttons on our site. If you have questions before registering an account with us, you can email us at silverspring@fetchpetcare.com or call/text us at 301-850-1274. We are happy to help!

  • How do I schedule a "Meet and Greet" with you?

We love meeting new fur-iends! Before officially booking your first visit, we require a 20-minute 'Onboarding Consultation' at your home. This helps us get to know your pet, understand their routine, and see if we’re a good fit. It also gives you a chance to show us where the treats, toys, and tools are so we can do a great job! After your account registration is complete and you have a start date for services, our Coordination Team will schedule your Onboarding Consultation with your Pet Care Team.

  • What are your business hours?

Our Coordination Team is available from 8 am to 7 pm every day to assist our clients and Pet Care Providers. They really help keep everything running smoothly! We offer pet care services from 8 am to 8 pm daily. If your pet needs a visit before 8 am or after 8 pm, we can still assist with a $10 surcharge. And yes, we are open 365 days a year!

  • Can I book care last-minute?

Life is busy and unpredictable, we get it. We are here to help. If you need to book a last-minute visit, we will do everything possible to be there. Please note that there is a $10 late booking fee for any visit scheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice.

💳 Rates & Cancellations

  • Do you charge extra for additional pets?

We love when our fur-iends have siblings! There is an additional charge of $6 per extra dog and $5 per extra cat or small pet.

  • What is your cancellation policy if my plans change?

  • What is your billing process?

Billing for clients with ongoing, regular schedules:

Clients with a regular, ongoing monthly service plan will be invoiced & automatically billed on the 1st of each month for services provided the previous month.

Billing for all other clients:

Non-ongoing clients will be invoiced and automatically billed on the 16th for any visits completed between the 1st and 15th of that month. Any visits completed between the 16th and the end of the month will be invoiced on the 1st of the following month.

  • How can I leave a tip for my Pet Care Providers?

If you would like to add a tip, please email our office, and we will include it in your billing.  You can also add a tip after billing has been run as a tip-only payment.

🛡️ Safety & Peace of Mind

  • How will I know my pet was cared for?

We understand how much you miss them. After every visit, we’ll send you a 'Pet Care Journal' via our My Fetch App. This includes a few photos of your pet, a quick update on their behavior, and confirmation that they’ve been fed, pottied, and loved. You’ll never have to wonder how they’re doing.

  • Are you insured and bonded?

For your peace of mind and ours, we are fully insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates. This covers everything from accidental property damage to veterinary care in the unlikely event your pet is injured while in our care.

  • What happens in the event of a medical emergency?

Your pet’s safety is our absolute priority. If an emergency occurs, we will immediately contact you (or your designated emergency contact). If urgent care is needed and we cannot reach you, we will transport your pet to your preferred primary veterinarian or the nearest 24-hour emergency clinic. Our system has your vet’s information, and your signed Pet Sitting Agreement is on file to avoid delays in care.

  • What happens if my Pet Care Provider gets sick or has an emergency?

At Fetch, we have always worked as a team, providing assistance and advice to one another. Our commitment to each other and your pets is unwavering, and it's what enhances the quality of care we provide. If one of your pet’s Care Team Members is unavailable, our Coordination Team will arrange for another provider to step in to make sure your pet is cared for every visit.

  • How do you handle home access?

We treat your home with the same respect we would our own. We prefer to use a secure on-site entry method (e.g., a lockbox, a digital code, an app). If you choose to provide a physical key, we keep it secured at our office when not in use. For your privacy, all our client keys are coded, and we never attach your name or address to them.

  • What is your Severe Weather Policy?

We follow the Federal Government's status on severe weather days. If the federal government closes (not liberal leave) due to weather, we will automatically cancel mid-day walks that day for clients unless you contact us and a sitter is available. This automatic cancellation does not apply to vacation visits, which will still be conducted.

Privacy Policy

  • Fetch! Pet Care may disclose Personal Data and other information as follows: Third Parties that Help Provide the Messaging Service: We will not share your opt-in to an SMS short code campaign with a third party for purposes unrelated to supporting you in connection with that campaign. We may share your Personal Data with third parties that help us provide the messaging service, including, but not limited to, platform providers, phone companies, and other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages.

  • Additional Disclosures: Affiliates: We may disclose the Personal Data to our affiliates or subsidiaries; however, if we do so, their use and disclosure of your Personal Data will be subject to this Policy. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
