How much will my tax bill increase?
A. To determine just how much your tax bill will increase, follow these directions:
- visit the Jefferson County Assessor's website: Jefferson County Assessor
- click on "Real Estate Search"
- search for your property (for best results, enter your name in the appropriate box then hit "enter")
- click on your property
- find your "assessed value"
Enter your "Assessed Value" in the form below. This is NOT how much you think your house is worth. If you enter that number, you are estimating way too much tax. This number comes directly from the Jefferson County Assessor's website and will give you a very accurate estimate of how passage of Prop F will impact your property tax bill.
