Things to know about the Internet in FFSD (Wired and Wireless)

• Desktop machines are connected via a blue Ethernet cord to the network (in some cases a wireless card may be used when a port is unavailable).

• Staff laptops and/or mobile devices  are pre-configured to connect to the "FF Staff" wireless network.  If your device is not connected, you will need a technician to work with you to get it connected. 

• Student Chromebooks are pre-configured to connect to the "FF Student" wireless network. Student devices should never be connected to the staff wireless for safety reasons. 

• Guest Wifi in FFSD can be found as "(new) FF Guest".  After connecting to guest, a user will be required to enter the guest credentials in a web browser. username: ffsdguest, password:wifi

• FFSD devices can join other networks when they are being used off campus. See below for more infomation on joing a network.
