How to Create an Annotated Bibliography in Noodletools
1. First, make sure that you are logged into your Noodletools account in a browser, such as Google Chrome or Safari. Make sure that before you begin that you have ALL of your citations that you need added to your Project Folder. Otherwise, you will be doing more work than you need to.
2. Go to the My Projects page; it should be the page that loads first after you log into Noodletools.
3. Next, locate the project you're using for your annotated bibliography. Click on the title of your folder.
4. Locate the resources you are using for your annotated bibliography in your project folder. For each resource, click on the empty space under the heading TAG.
5. You will be given a list of tags that you can apply to your resource. I would recommend using one of the colors given, such as green. (If you think about it, you're giving the "green light" for these resources to be in your annotated bib.)
6. Once you've tagged your annotated bibliography resources, you now need to add your annotations for each source. Do this by selecting the source & scrolling all the way down to where you see the Annotation header.
7. Type up your annotation for that source. Make sure to press Save at the top right corner. Repeat for each source listed.
8. Once you're done adding your annotations, then follow the above directions for How to Export your Works Cited Page in Noodletools. (Make sure that you select only the tagged resources that go into your annotated bibliography, not "all sources".)
TIP: Make sure your Google Drive is organized! Save this Works Cited page/annotated bibliography where you can easily find it!!!
