What We Are Celebrating Now: Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month

Featured Foxes! Live from FHE!

What is TIDE?

TIDE is the collaborative work of Folsom Hills Elementary parents and teachers dedicated to increasing the depth of understanding surrounding identity, diversity, justice, and action. We are committed to promoting increased tolerance, acceptance, and inclusion in our school community, preparing our students for a diverse and complex world. Each month we will focus on traits that promote inclusivity using the character-building themes and framework of PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention and Support). Along with children's books purchased by Folsom Hills, we will provide resources for parents and educators that focus on building empathy and greater understanding within our entire community. We hope these tools will help us recognize existing gaps in knowledge, navigate tough conversations, and lead to productive discussions with our peers and our children.
