Fetch Thrift Shop"We are a Frederick based non-profit thrift store that helps fund and support local animal rescues.  

The duties of our volunteers include hanging and organizing clothes, setting out items for sale, organizing displays, and helping to move inventory when needed.  We are a fast-paced work environment, so the hours pass by quickly.

When students complete the online volunteer application, they can sign up for shifts immediately.  We generally have two-hour shifts for sign up, but if a student feels they can volunteer longer, we welcome the help.  Our volunteer application can be found here.

Do you want to support programs that benefit those who need it?

Do you like horses, cows, chickens, goats, and baby chicks?

Do you like to garden?

Do you like playing in the mud and frolicking in the fields?

Do you need to breathe fresh mountain air?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you should volunteer at ThorpeWood! We'd love to have you out to the farm and can create a volunteer experience suited to your needs.

   Volunteer activities include...

· Socializing baby chicks

· Walking horses and goats

· Cleaning stalls

· Grooming horses

· Gardening (weeding, watering, etc.)

· Program support

· Invasive weed pulling

· Miscellaneous tasks around the farm
