Preserving the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data and information to protect the dignity of individuals, fundamental freedoms and the value of the Foundation's intellectual capital.
This is the objective of the FBK Privacy Regulations, which are part of the general regulation on Privacy, and of the regulatory system that governs the organization, processes and functions of the Foundation. The Regulations contain acceptable practices regarding the processing of personal and business information, ICT tools and systems.

The Foundation's research staff is required to integrate in its research and study activities to the ethical standards promoted by the Data Protection Authority and that can be found in the Annex to the Foundation's Code of Conduct.

The Data Breach Management Procedure defines the methods for handling security breaches of personal data and the consequent actions that the Foundation must implement and complete. The procedure applies to all Users - as classified in the Privacy Regulations (Section I, Article 3) - who, in any capacity, process personal data on behalf of the Foundation.

The Policy for the protection and promotion of children's rights has the goal of ensuring and promoting the protection and dignity of minors in all areas, taking into account current regulation and the relevant principles enshrined at international, European and national level. In particular, with this Policy, Fondazione Bruno Kessler undertakes to protect minors who are recipients of the services it provides or who, in any capacity, are involved in its research and study activities.
