H.I.S. (Homeschooling in the Spirit) welcomes you and your family! We each are privileged to be able to guide and teach our most precious gifts from God–our children. With this great privilege comes great responsibility. We welcome your participation, your knowledge, your talents and your gifts to share in this ministry for the benefit of growing our children. We hope you will find H.I.S. to be a place where you can support, encourage, and be supported and encouraged by, other homeschool families. We pray that our combined efforts will develop a community for our children to impact the larger communities in which we reside.
About H.I.S.
H.I.S. has grown out of a desire of a few homeschool moms to have a community for their children that is supportive of their at-home learning and that teaches and encourages their children to boldly share their faith and impact their larger community through love and service. God made it clear to all of us that this ministry needs to be HIS and remain in Him each step of the way in order to be successful. We are excited that you have chosen to walk this journey with us!
H.I.S. welcomes any homeschooling family. While H.I.S. Ministry is offered for Kindergarten level or older, preschool is available for younger siblings. Parents participating in Bible study or prayer group may utilize the preschool program during the hour(s) of study or prayer time.
We will have a variety of subject matter taught, as well as opportunities for field trips and shared information for other educational events. We will have many opportunities to be involved with outreach and generous giving to our community.
H.I.S. Mission Statement:
To glorify God by equipping families with biblical knowledge and wisdom and encouraging them to train up their children in the manner that God would have them raised.
My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Colossians 2:2-3
H.I.S. Purpose Statement:
H.I.S. Ministry exists to come alongside families and equip them to grow to glorify God and increase in wisdom and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. We want to encourage families to grow, and support them in their effort to train up their children in the ways of the Lord. Our primary mechanism for doing this is a weekly time of coming together for structured classes and time for fellowship and Bible study.
