New Security Alarm Company - Universal Atlantic Systems (UAS)

Over the next few weeks, Fazoli’s will be switching our alarm monitoring service for company restaurants to Universal Atlantic Systems (UAS). The transition will allow us to eliminate the cost of phone lines that are being used primarily for alarm monitoring by communicating over the Internet. A detailed schedule of the transition will be sent in coming weeks. GMs must complete the survey below by Friday, May 15. 

Action Items:

• General Managers must complete the New Security (UAS) Emergency & Security Code Information Form by Friday, May 15. (Click the link above to access the form).

• Read the attached or click the link to learn more about how to arm and disarm the system. (UAS - How to Arm and Disarm). Make sure all managers have read the New Keypad Instructions to avoid a Police visit due to a false alarm. 

Key Notes:

• GMs will receive an installation schedule a few days before the installation date.

• UAS will use most of our existing equipment. You will receive a new panel and keypad. 

• Area Supervisors will give each manager a new UAS security code 

• Management Security pendants cannot leave the building anymore. They are now apart of your "security zones."

• PFG drivers will receive their new codes from Purchasing before the installation date.

• If a piece of security equipment has to be replaced after you have switched to UAS, Area Supervisors will need to request the replacement with UAS.
