What's Going on in the Center?
The BackPack program has been designed to meet the needs of children at times when resources are limited or not available, such as weekends and school vacations. BackPacks are filled with easy to prepare foods and nutritious snacks. Keeneland prepares and delivers BackPack to Winburn. We pass out BackPacks to students on the last school day of the week. To qualify for the BackPack program please complete the Intake Form, BP application and survey. There are a limited number of backpack spaces. The Sharing Thanksgiving program provides Thanksgiving food box to families in need of food during the Thanksgiving holiday. To qualify for a Thanksgiving food box you must be a resident of Fayette County, meet the U.S. Household Income Guidelines and complete and Intake Referral Form.
Deadline September 5, 2018
We now taking referrals for the Sharing Thanksgiving and BackPack programs. If you are eligible please complete the required information and return to the Youth Services Center NO LATER THAN September 5, 2018
