Password Change
If you need to change your password and you know what it is, you can do that yourself at:
If you are at school and do not know your password, any of your teachers or Mrs. Pleasant can change it for you.
If you are at home and do not know your password, call 859-381-4357 (FCPS Technology Helpdesk) and they will change it for you.
My Chromebook will not power on! What do I do?
If the Chromebook will not power on, try these steps in order:
Be sure the Chromebook is fully charged! The charger must be connected on the same side as the Chromebook Logo.
Be sure all parts of the Charger are completely connected. If they are not or it is loose, the Chromebook will not charge.
When it is plugged in, do you see a little light near the charger? It will be green or white when the Chromebook is fully charged or red when the Chromebook is charging.
If none of the above work, do a Power Reset (see picture below).
If the Power Reset does not work, do a Powerwash (see picture below).
If nothing at all works, bring the Chromebook to Mrs. Pleasant in Room 102 or have your parents email Mrs. Pleasant at carla.pleasant@fayette.kyschools.us to request a loaner Chromebook.
