Goggle Information! Goggles will be sold until August 22. The cost of goggles is $8. Checks are the preferred method of payment and should be made out to HCHS. I will collect any goggle money and it must be paid separately from all other fees.
Students in AP, Advanced Chemistry, and General Chemistry students will pay a $5 Lab Fee (directly to me). Checks are best but I can accept cash--exact amount only, as I cannot guarantee I can make change for larger denominations. In addition, students will pay textbook fees. These fees are paid in the student's homeroom ($8/class with very few exceptions). Again, checks are preferable. All checks should be made out to HCHS with the student name in the memo line.
About Mrs. Minor
I have been teaching in Fayette County Public Schools for 18 years and taught in Indiana a few years before that. My husband and I (married 33 years) met in our High School Chemistry class. Our three daughters are all married (2016, 2017, and 2018--yes, I have done a few weddings in the past couple of years) and live across the country. They are certainly our pride and joy!! When I am not teaching ( a true passion of mine), I love to scrapbook, sew, and do all kinds of crafty things. Our family loves to travel and we are close to having completed trips to all 50 states. I have a passion for Missions and meeting educational needs of students in two particular areas of Kenya. Our family has traveled there several times in the last 10+ years and we are actively working to establish a reliable water delivery system for a school's Chemistry lab outside Nairobi.
