The mission of our English faculty is to promote literacy through analytical thinking, effective communication, and creative expression. We encourage students to think critically and make connections between text and the real world. At Henry Clay, we offer a variety of English core courses to fit the diverse goals of each learner. In addition, our elective courses are designed to expose students to a variety of perspectives and communication tools.
