Are you a Fayette County Public Schools staff member that would like to work toward your Google Educator Level 1 or Level 2 Certification? This year the Office of Instructional Technology will be offering a series of trainings for both Level 1 and Level 2 certifications to help prepare staff. Individuals can choose which sessions to attend, based on their individual needs. We will offer a common testing session in the Spring for those that want to test with the group. See below for details.
There are nine professional learning sessions that will prepare staff for the Level 1 Certification along with an online resource course. Those seeking Level 1 certification can elect to sign up for all nine sessions or just the ones they feel they will need. It is strongly recommended that anyone planning to take the exam attend the Level 1 Test Prep sessions.
All available sessions will be listed in the District Catalog on www.mylearningplan.com. Search for Technology to find sessions.
There are four professional learning, task-based sessions that will help prepare staff for the Level 2 Certification along with an online resource course. Those seeking Level 2 certification are strongly recommended to attend all sessions. Please note, these topics are in addition to those listed in Level 1.
All available sessions will be listed in the District Catalog on www.mylearningplan.com. Search for Technology to find sessions.
There are two, 3 hour professional learning sessions that will prepare staff for the Level 1 Certification along with an online resource course. These sessions will be fast-paced and are geared towards those familiar with Google apps.
