The Dîner en Blanc concept began in Paris in 1988 when François Pasquier invited a group of friends to an elegant outdoor dinner at the Bois de Boulogne, asking them to dress in white so they could find each other. The event's presence has grown to over 85 cities, with almost 17,000 gathering for the 30th-anniversary event in Paris.

Dîner en Blanc ("Dinner in White") is now a worldwide event spanning six continents in which people have a meal dressed in white in a temporary dining setup in a public space. Diners historically are required to bring their own food, drinks, tables, chairs, and tablecloths.

Our FASNY edition, however, will provide guests with tables and tablecloths, chairs, plates, cutlery, glassware, and entertainment. In addition, single-person picnic baskets will be available for pre-purchase for those who do not wish to prepare their own food. 

You must provide your own champagne, wine, and other beverages. 

Only participants who have previously signed up are made privy to the location on the day of the dinner, which will be in a convenient spot for FASNY families.

Participants must wear white attire. 

So please don your most elegant whites and join us for a wonderful evening to connect with friends and dance under the stars.

Remember to bring your own beverages (ice and glassware will be provided). 

In addition, bring your own dish/meal or pre-purchase our single-person pre-made picnic basket with various charcuterie, sandwiches, quiche, salads, and desserts, available (with a vegetarian option) for $60 per person.

Note: while you can share a basket, quantity are defined for a single person picnic.

We will have a DJ spinning, and you are invited to sing or play an instrument if the bohemian mood strikes you.
