Physics (A level)
Physics is an amazing subject to study.
In fact it's maybe the biggest subject you can study. It covers the smallest things we know about such as the pieces that atoms are made of, and the biggest thing: that's the whole Universe!
It also covers a vast range in time: from the Big Bang, when the Universe was created, to the end of the Universe in the very, very far future.
It covers very practical, everyday things, like how objects move and respond to forces, and how sound, light, heat and electricity work.
It also covers things that require a lot of imagination, either because they're too small to see, like atoms and electrons, or are abstract concepts, like energy, electric fields and gravitational fields.
And along the way there are stories of some of the people who have helped shape our modern lives through their discoveries and theories.
It's an exciting world!
