English Literature (A Level)

You will experience:

VARIETY – texts and genres across history, tasks in lessons, writing assignments, your presentation of knowledge and understanding of the texts.

INTELLECTUAL CHALLENGE – you will build on the knowledge and skills you already have through your GCSE studies and extend your ability to think, interpret and analyse.

BIG IDEAS - the texts you will study deal with love, relationships, death, conflict and social issues from a range of eras and cultures…but there will also be humour - some of the texts explore these issues through comedy.
