Entry to the course is open to all trainees who have completed the Basic Training (BT).
They must be medically fit to enable them to participate in all aspects of the training particularly the practical exercises.

The number of trainees shall not exceed twenty-four (24) per class.

Communication
Communication with crew and passengers during emergency
Languages appropriate to the principal nationalities of passengers carried on the particular route
Use of Elementary English vocabulary for instructions
Other means of communication when oral communication is impractical
Safety instructions provided to passengers in their native language or languages
Broadcasting of emergency announcements
Life-saving appliances
Use of personal life-saving appliances to passengers
Embarkation and disembarkation procedures
Embarking and disembarking passengers, with special attention to persons with disabilities and persons needing assistance
