Seafarers who shall undergo the refresher course for SCRB must be a holder of a Certificate of Proficiency (COP) in SCRB and has proof of approved seagoing service for a period of at least twelve (12) months in total during the preceding five (5) years, or three (3) months in total during the preceding six (6) months immediately prior to revalidating.
They must be medically fit to enable them to participate in all aspects of the training particularly the practical exercises.

The number of trainees shall not exceed twenty-four (24) per class.

Start and operate an inboard engine fitted in an open or enclosed lifeboat
