Entry to the course is open to all officers and any person with immediate responsibility for loading, discharging, care in transit, handling of cargo, tank cleaning or other cargo-related operations on liquefied gas tankersas required in paragraph 3, Regulation V/1-1 of the STCW Convention, 1978, as amended. The trainees must be holder of Certificate of Training Completion inBasic Training for Liquefied Gas Tanker Cargo Operations (BTLGT).
The number of trainees shall not exceed twenty-four (24) per class.
