Entry to the course is open to all officers andany person with immediate responsibility for loading, discharging, care in transit, handling of cargo, tank cleaning or other cargo-related operations on chemical tankers as required in paragraph 5, Regulation V/1-1 of the STCW Convention, 1978, as amended. The trainees must be holder of Certificate of Training Completion inBasic Training for Oil and Chemical Tanker Cargo Operations (BTOCT).
The number of trainees shall not exceed twenty-four (24) per class.
