2025-2026 School Year Kindergarten Registration is Open!

Children who have attained the age of five on or before September 1, 2025, shall be eligible for enrollment in kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year.  The custodial parent/guardian of the child is the only one authorized to complete the enrollment process. The 911 address of your residence must be used when enrolling your child, and you must enroll your child in the school zone where you reside. Not enrolling in the appropriate school could result in a transfer of your student. If you have a question regarding which school you are zoned to attend please get in touch with the transportation department at 706-632-7802. It is not necessary to bring your child to registration.

*Students in Fannin County School System PreK classrooms must still 

complete the online registration forms and register their child.

HOW TO REGISTER:

1. Please complete the ONLINE ENROLLMENT FORMS prior to meeting with our registrar. If you do not have access to an electronic device, we will have Chromebooks available to complete the forms at the Registrar's office.   

To complete the registration process, the following documentation will be needed in addition to online registration:

• Birth Certificate

• Current Immunization Record (Must be on a Georgia Form)

• Eye, Ear, and Dental examination records (Form 3300) Examinations are available at the Fannin County Health Department, 706-632-3023

• Social Security Card

• Proof of Residency (two documents, i.e., utility bill, paperwork, etc., verifying your 911 address; P.O. box is not a proof of residency)

2. Make an Appointment and meet with the Registrar to Finalize the Registration.

Please book an appointment through the online calendar or by calling 706-946-2004. When you arrive, you will fill out the Georgia Residency Affidavit form. It must be notarized. A notary will be available when you come to your registration appointment. 

Helpful Hints Before You Begin the Online Application:

• Have the following information available for all students in your household:

  • Student's FULL Legal Name (First, Middle, Last - as it appears on the birth certificate)

  • Student's Date of Birth

  • Student's FULL Social Security Number (optional)

• Write down your application number for reference

• Parents should have a valid email address

• Be sure to check your spam for the confirmation email

Please note that you can upload the required documentation while completing the online application. If you are unable to upload the required documentation, please bring them with you to your appointment.
