F&M swept the Mules 1-0 and 5-3 last season in an away visit. During the second game, Jamie Belfer cleared the bases with a triple to drive in home two runners, including the game winning run.

Game Notes

  • F&M faces off against a favorable matchup this weekend of Muhlenberg as the Diplomats have a current seven-game winning streak versus the Mules.

  • Alexa Klepper, as a first-year player, is already ranked second all-time in most sacrifice flies (7), only behind Lauren Incorvaia's eight. Her seven sacrifice flies she recorded so far this season is the most in one season in Diplomat history.

  • Two Diplomats are currently top 10 in Diplomat history for highest batting average in one season. Jamie Belfer's .473 is currently fourth highest and Klepper's is .447, well enough for eighth best.

  • Belfer's on the cusp of reaching the top position in Diplomat all-time history in one season for runs scored as she is currently fourth (34 hits) with time left. First place is currently held by Melissa Young and Danielle Murphy who have 38 apiece. Belfer also has cracked the top 10 in hits in a season as well with 44.

  • Klepper is currently in a six-way tie for seventh most in one season in F&M history for RBI's with 27. She is three away from cracking the top five and seven from tying Lauren Incorvaia's all time record (34). As a team, F&M's 11 total sacrifice flies is currently 11th most in Diplomat history in one season, tied with the 2013 squad.

  • Charlotte Dwyer continues to stand out on the pitching mound as she is currently ranked first all-time in one season in most strikeouts per a seven inning game (9.15). As a unit, the Diplomats overall have a 5.83 strikeouts per seven innings percentage, only behind the 2020 team (6.16).

  • As far as strikeouts, the Diplomats has 135, tied for fourth most in one season in Diplomat history. The 2015 squad currently have the most with 159. 50 of those strikeouts are ones looking, only two less than an F&M season record of 52 from 2015.

  • On defense, Claire Sullivan is currently in a seven-way tie for first all-time in a season for highest fielding percentage (1.000%).
