OUR PROGRAM
We are an accredited program offering a quality Christian Program for boys and girls ages 2-1/2 – 5 years of age. We have low teacher to student ratios. Our staff consists of degreed Teachers with many years of experience. All staff members are trained in CPR, AED and First Aid.

OUR TEACHERS
AGE REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible for enrollment, a student must be 2 years old as of April 30 of the prior school year and potty trained for the Wee Three 2-Day program. In the 3-Day program a child must be 3 years old by September 1 and potty trained. In the 5-Day VPK program, a child must be 4 years old by September 1 and potty trained. Enrollment in our VPK Program also requires a Certificate of Eligibility from the State of Florida.
OUR CURRICULUM
Our curriculum is centered on and supports the three expressed concepts of our philosophy: Christian Faith, The Young Learner, and The Whole Child.
The Christian Faith component is supported by our Wee Learn Bible Curriculum and enhanced with teacher created ideas. These components are tools used to convey our philosophy of the basic tenets of the Christian faith.
Our curriculum is designed with the young learner in mind. Our curriculum is play-based, founded upon developmentally appropriate practices and the Florida State Standards. This approach supports the needs of the young learner.
Our curriculum addresses the whole child - mind, body, and spirit. It does this through activities and learning experiences that are planned, created, and implemented to foster growth cognitively, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

PHILOSOPHY
At Faith “Viera” Lutheran Church and Preschool, our Christian teachings and practices are founded upon the inspired Word of God (the Scriptures) which reveals to us the Triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that each child is a unique creation of God, each exhibiting distinct qualities. Faith “Viera” Lutheran Preschool is a coeducational, Christian Preschool, accepting diverse individuals from our local communities. Our mission is to teach to the whole child, spiritually, emotionally, socially, physically and academically through a play-based curriculum.
The staff at Faith “Viera” Lutheran Preschool strives to create a supportive Christian environment. Through Christian example, instruction and discipline, we strive to help our students obtain the necessary skills to succeed in life. The Staff encourages parents to be involved in school activities and decisions. We strive to create open communication between home and school.
Faith “Viera” Lutheran School exists as an outreach ministry of Faith “Viera” Lutheran Church. God has made us His children and heirs through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We are now free to live new lives in Christ. We believe that God’s Word, the Bible, is the guideline for sharing what new life in Christ means to those we serve.
