All digital images are owned by the photographer/creator. Many online images can be found that are copyright free OR allow use under a Creative Commons License. It is important to give credit to the owner when required or requested.
Copyright Friendly Images
These sites provide images that are in the public domain and do not require attribution. However, giving credit to the creator is appreciated.
Creative Commons
A Creative Commons license allows the free distribution of images and other works. A CC license is used when an author wants to give other people the right to share, use a piece of work that the author has created. A Creative Commons Attribution should be included.
