Local Resource for Fairfield County

Fairfield Foster Closet is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit.

We are a resource for local foster and kinship families that live in and around Fairfield County, Ohio. We work with families who are licensed through Fairfield County as well as all other private agencies. We provide new and gently used clothing and essential items to children who have been placed into the foster care system. Often times these children come with little to no belongings and we want to ensure that they have everything that they need.

All items that are donated are sorted through to ensure that they meet our standard. As needs arise foster parents send a message and we pull the items that they need. If we don't have the items, we reach out to our amazing facebook community that typically fills the need in a matter of minutes.

Once the items have been given to the foster family, they ensure that the items stay with the child even if they leave their home. We do not expect anything to be returned to the foster closet.
