After logging in to your Shareworks account, you will see the Morgan Stanley Access Direct popup. Click ‘Open Now’ on the pop-up to enter the MSAD account opening workflow.
Note: Clicking ‘Remind me later’ will close out the pop-up.
You will then be asked to verify your email address. After verifying your email, you will be asked to fill out a series of standard account opening and know your customer questions.
Upon completing the account opening process, you will be presented with a screen informing you that the account has been successfully opened.
At this point, you can choose to order a debit card linked to the account, add a trusted contact, continue on to your new Morgan Stanley Access Direct account or go back to Shareworks.

You are eligible for an MSAD account if you meet the following criteria:
• US resident (excluding Section 16 and Form 144 insiders)
• 18 years or older
• Registered on Shareworks
Once you have opened your Morgan Stanley Access Direct account, you will have access to Morgan Stanley Online and can view your account, access research and education content, utilize the Account Aggregator tool and more. Your MSAD account is integrated with Shareworks.

There are two ways to log into your account:
Log in to your account directly at https://login.morganstanleyclientserv.com/ using your MSAD credentials.
Log in to your Shareworks account through Enterprise by clicking on the Shareworks tile under Technology Solutions. You will see your Morgan Stanley Access Direct account information reflected in the Wealth Management Accounts section of your Shareworks view. Click on the hyperlink and use your MSAD credentials on the login page.
Within your Shareworks Portfolio under the Share Purchase and Holdings tab will be the number of available shares to transact.
Step 1: Select the Transact link to initiate a transfer.
Step 2: To transfer shares to another brokerage, click Shares Transfer. Choose from the Lot Selection (mouse over selection for definition) and indicate the number of shares (units) you would like to transfer.
Step 3: Choose Electronic share transfer to transfer to another brokerage. If this is the first time transferring shares to another broker, you will be asked to click ‘Enter Brokerage Account’ and provide the details required to link your accounts. Please contact MSAD if you are unsure about any of your account details.
Step 4: Once you have entered your MSAD brokerage account information, you will be asked to verify and confirm your transfer. It will take approximately two days for the transaction/transfer to settle and for shares to appear in your account.

Please Note: Shares issued prior to November 2019 were issued to accounts within Broadridge.
Your MSAD account number is visible by selecting Services -> Profile + Settings -> Display -> Account Number -> Show entire account number. After selecting this, return to the Home page and you will see your full account number.
Step 3: Log-in to your MSAD account via your Shareworks dashboard or at https://login.morganstanleyclientserv.com and send an email with your Broadridge account statement and the completed share transfer form to initiate the transfer of your shares.
1) From your Inbox, click + New message.
2) In the 'TO' line, select Self Directed Support from the drop down menu.
3) In the 'SUBJECT' line type "eXp share transfer".
4) Click 'Attach file' to attach your transfer request form and Broadridge statement or Individual Shareholder Summary, and click 'Send'.
