2021 - 2023, I was the Programme Manager and lead on the 'Sustainable Digital Scholarship service Expansion' programme, at the University of Oxford, which followed on from my highly successful work as Project Manager on the Research Data Management System Implementation project. I developed the business case to clearly articulate and secure funding to explore the possibility of expanding the SDS service beyond the Humanities Division at the University to all other academic divisions and researchers.
Whilst involved on this project I feel the key achievements we delivered and core strengths I brought to this initiative could be described as follows:
Business case writing, and presenting to senior committee to secure funding, and continued funding for different phases of the initiative as it moved from initial Scoping through to Delivery
Planning and delivering Community Consultation sessions with over 100 stakeholder at the University from all academic divisions and GLAM to understand appetitive for this service for research in their areas
Presenting to senior committees and boards to secure support and buy-in for expansion of SDS into their area
Technical planning and implementation of the SDS Figshare platform for all 4 academic Divisions and GLAM units at the University
Development and enhancement of service literature to reflect a wider user audience of the service
Leading on communications and engagements events to promote the newly expanded service to new audiences at the University
