• Subscription Reminder to be sent out in March newsletter

• Decide date for AGM

MARCH

• Submit items in for Spring newsletter

• Treasurer to send out subscription reminder

• Decide whether to keep subscription at same level.

• Plan for the AGM in April – Secretary to send out details 7 days before date of the AGM

• Chair to prepare annual report.

• Treasurer to prepare annual financial report.

APRIL

• Plan for the Summer newsletter – end June

• Set date for summer solstice celebration/BBQ – end June

JUNE

• In Bloom Review

• Summer solstice celebration/bbq

• Stone fruit (Damson, Cherry, Gage, Plum) should be pruned during the summer. This is done to avoid serious diseases such as silver leaf and bacterial canker

• Submit items in for Summer newsletter

JULY

• Summer pruning of Apple and Pear trees, plus any stone fruit not yet done.

AUGUST

• Posters & advertising for Open Day

• Send out invite via email for open day

• Plan for open day. Who will do what

• Distribute flyers & posters for open day

• Email Open Day reminder at the end of August

• Set a date for annual/harvest review meeting, usually in October

• Plan for autumn newsletter - late September

SEPTEMBER

• Set a date for the annual review meeting usually in October

• Send out a harvest questionnaire to members then draw up a harvest review ready for October annual review

• Submit items in for Autumn newsletter

OCTOBER

• Annual Review meeting.

• Start work on bed/rotation chart for next season.

• Seed ordering group to form

• Make an inventory of our seeds

NOVEMBER

• Consider dates for the December/January Get-together

• Set dates for wassail to be advertised in the winter newsletter. Who will lead the Wassail?

• Draw up a bed/rotation plan for next season and circulate to members before December field meeting.

DECEMBER

• Crop planning and seed ordering group to meet and to order seeds and plants for next season

• Order tomatoes (if not sowing) or whatever from Martyn Bragg

• 5 December is World Soil Day

• Submit items in for Winter newsletter

• Have we set a date for the Wassail in January?
