Excel Aquatics is excited to host the TYR Invite this weekend and especially to welcome HSA and NAC back to the Indoor Sports Complex. These two teams represent the very best competition that the SES conference has to offer so it should be a great measuring stick for how the Long Course championship meet will look. A couple of things to look for:
We currently have 103 SES Qualifiers and are looking to grow that number by at least 5.
Watch the 9-10 & 11-12 Girls as those two age groups still need a couple qualifiers to fill out all the SES relays.
Many of our National Team will be swimming their first full LC meet so look for national standards.
Team scores- At our April Tri Meet in Nashville, while we ended up winning the combined, the HSA girls ended up ahead of us by 300 points. We are looking to close that gap. Also, in the combined scores, HSA and NAC were only separated by 36 points so that will be a fun race to watch.
Announcements
All of our parent volunteers play a vital role in hosting meets. We simply could not host meets in your absence. While most jobs take little training or experience, meet officials go through an educational and training process that enables them to help officiate at all meets. In fact, our own Excel officials have outnumbered the host team officials in both our first two meets. We are very grateful to our officiating crew but are always looking for new members. Ensure a safe and fair competition for all our athletes
Satisfy all their volunteer requirements
Have the best seat in the pool
Have access to hospitality

We are looking for summer swim instructors to work with our swim school. It's a great way to help teach an important life skill, introduce new swimmers into the Excel Family, and even earn extra summer cash. If you are age 15 or older, have experience with all four competitive strokes, and want to train the next generation of Excel swimmers then this is the perfect opportunity for you. If you are a Senior swimmer with Excel, we are happy to work around your practice/meet schedule and in most cases your summer travel. Interested candidates should contact the Swim School Director at your site, listed below.
Brentwood, Franklin, and Nolensville - Daun Lutz at coachdaun@excelaquatics.org

The 2022 Death Valley Open water race will be on Saturday, June 4th in Clemson SC. This is a rare opportunity to race open water in preparation to sending athletes to Open Water Nationals in 2023. Like last year, we will also tag on a white water rafting trip in Ocoee, TN on Friday June 3rd. This will be a 3 hour afternoon trip that is open to all swimmers and their families (12 and older) and the cost is $45/person. All costs will be charged to your Excel account. Please click here for information and to fill out the waiver.
Note- The Southeastern LSC has decided to not send a team to Open Water Zones so this opportunity becomes even more important.

Our Weekly Update for 5-13-22 has been released so check it out!
You may have noticed that we are receiving intros from a wide variety of sources. SEC champions, officials, swim moms and vendors are just some of the folks who have made an appearance. If you are traveling and want to send us an intro from a unique location, we'll be sure to include it. Interested in seeing where they all come from so far?
Check out Excel Aquatics from all around the world!
