The best way to contact me is through email. I will respond within 24 hours, and usually within 3 hours.

*My Google Classroom will still be up and running if students want to use it to communicate with me or access past work or see past posts. My "Info & Links" page (tab at the top of this page) will remain up and updated all summer so students can still access online learning links. Additionally, PBS will begin broadcasting literacy lessons for K-3 children and their families taught by Colorado master teachers on Monday, May 18th. 2nd grade lessons will be at 9:00 and 3rd grade lessons will be at 9:30.

Usually at the end of the year, my class gets to share memories of the year and hopes for next year. We have a "Summer Kick-off Reading Party" and hang out on beach towels, read books and magazines, and have goldfish and juice boxes. We have a tic-tac-toe bracket and play until we have a final champion. I wish we could have done all these things together. One thing I can still do is tell you all how much I love you. This year, when other teachers would ask me how my class was, I always told them the same thing, "I'm the luckiest teacher in the world! I have the most amazing class, and I love them so much!" I love my students every year, of course. It's just that this year, all of you seemed to connect with each other so well. It was wonderful to see all of you become friends, share, help each other, play together, and grow! I will miss you so much! I am so proud of all of you! Please remember if you ever need anything, just ask me. I will always be here for you and you will always be a Narwhal!
