Reading: We would like the kids to log on to Raz-kids everyday and read a book at the level assigned and take the comprehension quiz. We will be able to see when they logged on, and how they did on the quiz. Then sometime throughout the day to read a book to, or with someone.

Journal for daily writing to practice 3 sentences with complete sentences and conventions. You may use these or come up with your own if you choose.

Tuesday: Informational Writing- Write 3 facts that you learned about Antarctica during our zoom today with Mr. Nance. If you couldn't watch the zoom, write 3 facts about Antarctica.

Wednesday: Watch the youtube story "Tacky the Penguin." Create your own story about a penguin. Share with your family.

Thursday: Write 3 sentences about your favorite things about kindergarten. We will share these during tomorrow's zoom.

Friday: Write about your plans for the summer. What will you do? Where will you go? Who will you do it with?

Fun facts about Antarctica:

Antarctica is the coldest and windiest continent of all. Not many people live there. Penguins are birds that live in Antarctica. They cannot fly, but they are excellent swimmers. Krill are shrimp like creatures that live in the waters of Antarctica. They are the main food for whales, penguins, seabirds, and sharks that live there. Scientists like Mr. Nance like to investigate this frozen land.

Friday: Bring your favorite treat to our zoom meeting today to celebrate the last day of school! It can be ice cream, snow cones, a popsicle, fruit, milk shake,etc. We will read a fun story and then share our 3 favorite things from kindergarten together.
