Tips for your student to prepare for their audition:
Get plenty of rest the night before.
Be familiar with their audition piece, song and dance.
Drink water/stay hydrated. Bring water with them.
They can also bring a snack if they want.
Wear or bring comfortable clothes and shoes.
Although we'll have copies of scripts and songs, you may wish to bring your own copy that you have highlighted/marked up.

First we will do a short warm-up for bodies and voices.
Then each student will do their audition reading and song, possibly with a partner (this may be a pre-selected reader).
We may ask them to repeat something - we may not.
We may ask them questions -we may not.
ALWAYS be courteous to the other students who are on stage auditioning--their off stage actions are also being auditioned.
Make sure to listen to the audition panel and the Director.
Remember to smile!
