Ticketfly/Eventbrite Google Analytics exists within our Google Marketing Platform organization, which allows us to centrally manage multiple analytics products across our network of client websites. Each website has its own Google Analytics account and its own property within it. The property tied to your EB-powered website collects data from your website, which you can then analyze through views.
Review the hierarchy of organizations, accounts, users, properties, and views help article for more detailed information about this structure.
You will then provide us with (temporary) access in order to transfer ownership.

Read this Google support article to learn more about the process to move a product account to a different organization.
*Even if you already have access to your TF/EB Google Analytics account, all steps must be completed in order to transfer ownership.
1. Create your own Google Marketing Platform organization. (View detailed info)
In Platform Home, click Administration > Organizations (see screenshot).
Note: You will need to set up a Google Analytics account if you do not have any Google products already associated with your email address. The account can be fake/temporary for the purposes of creating your organization, if necessary.
Click Create organization.
Enter a name for the organization, for example, your business name.
Click CREATE (see screenshot).
2. Add wordpressga@eventbrite.com as an Org admin of your organization. (View detailed info)
In your newly created organization and click Organization administrators (see screenshot).
Use the blue plus button and click Add users.
Add wordpressga@eventbrite.com in the email addresses field, select Org Admin and click Add (see screenshot).
3. Send an email to wordpressga@eventbrite.com confirming you have completed both steps.
Once we receive your confirmation email, we will initiate the Google Analytics ownership transfer.
Example email text to send:
We have finished setting up our Google organization and have added wordpressga@eventbrite.com as an Org admin. The Google organization is called [YOUR ORG NAME HERE] and our website is https://www.yourdomain.com. Please transfer ownership of our Google Analytics account.
For transparency, we will be following the steps outlined in this Google help article under Move a product account to a different organization.
4. Verify that your Google Analytics account has been transferred to your organization.
After we complete the ownership transfer steps on our end, we will confirm with you via email.
Log into your organization and under Linked Accounts, click Analytics (see screenshot).
Verify that your Analytics account is listed and that you have access (see screenshot).
The transferred account should be appended with "(Ticketfly + Eventbrite)" or "(Eventbrite)" depending on which ticketing platform(s) your website used.
5. Remove wordpressga@eventbrite.com as Org admin of your organization. (View detailed info)
In Platform Home, click Administration > Organizations.
In your organization and click Organization administrators.
Click the three vertical dots on the far right of the wordpressga@eventbrite.com row and click Remove Admin (see screenshot).
You may also remove any other Ticketfly or Eventbrite users within your Analytics account or property (if applicable).
Do I have to assume ownership of my Google Analytics account?
No, this process is entirely optional. You may prefer to create an entirely new Google Analytics account or you may no longer have a use for this tool/data. Any accounts that are not transferred out of our organization, including all associated data, will eventually be deleted.
I already have access to my existing Google Analytics account. Do I still need to follow this process to assume ownership?
Yes, you must still follow the steps outlined above to assume ownership of the account. Even if you already have access, the account still lives within our Ticketfly/Eventbrite organization and must be transferred. We will eventually delete any accounts that are not transferred out of our organization.
Can I just continue using my existing Google Analytics account or access the associated data without assuming ownership?
No, in order to keep your existing Google Analytics active, you must assume ownership. Even if you currently have user access to your existing account, you must assume ownership. Please follow the steps outlined above to initiate the ownership transfer. We will eventually delete any accounts, including all associated data, that are not transferred out of our organization.
I'm building a new website. Do I still need to my existing Google Analytics account?
The decision is up to you and assuming ownership is entirely optional. With that said, even with a new website, you can continue using the existing tracking ID (also know as the UA code) to collect data. This allows you to maintain continuity and preserve data from your previous website. You can also use the existing tracking ID if you have a new domain in addition to a new website.
What happens if I do not assume ownership of my Google Analytics account?
Any accounts that are not transferred out of our organization, including all associated data, will be scheduled to be deleted. Once deleted, the account and data are not recoverable.
