Evadale ISD has announced its policy today that this school year, healthy meals will be offered every school day to all students at no cost. Typically, a student’s household must meet income eligibility requirements to qualify for free or reduced-price meals. However, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) issued guidance that allows schools to offer meals to all students at no cost for the 2021-2022 school year. Each school/site or central office has a copy of the policy, which may be reviewed upon request. While no application or eligibility determination process is required for your student to receive free meals this school year, the income eligibility requirement will likely resume in the 2022-2023 school year.

Wanted to let everyone know that we have available WiFi access in our parking lot running parallel to the railroad tracks. This is available for anyone to use and does not require a password to connect to. For those concerned with the security aspect of it, it is completely isolated from our network, and all guest connections are isolated from each other. Everyone gets their own connection to the internet and to nothing else. This is also filtered minimally to try and limit the false positives that would be blocked, but also prevent abuse and access to not so good things. The signal is strong enough for it to be used in your vehicle, so there is no need to congregate near the entrances.
The network name is "EISD Public WiFi" and once connected your device will prompt you to agree to the terms and conditions. The terms just say that you will not do anything illegal and we reserve the right to block devices that are using it appropriately.
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact cfikes@evadalek12.net.
To order pictures email support@traditionsportraits.com requesting your student's unique code. Once they receive that email, they will respond with with the code and instructions on how to access their students photos.
Traditions Portraits has any pictures that were ordered prior to campus closure are safe in their office and will be distributed once we resume normal schedule.
