EcoArt Project
The EcoArt project is an international educational initiative aimed at combining artistic activities with the development of environmental awareness among students.
The project focuses on highlighting the relationship between art and the natural environment, while promoting pro-environmental attitudes and the principles of sustainability. Through international cooperation, thematic workshops, and creative activities, participants develop key competences such as critical thinking, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility for the environment.
The project also supports cultural exchange and strengthens a shared sense of responsibility for the protection of Europe’s and the world’s natural heritage. Each partner organisation contributes its unique geographical and cultural perspective, as well as different approaches to environmental awareness, and the resulting diversity of experiences and viewpoints represents a significant added value of the project, enriching mutual learning and fostering a more inclusive and holistic understanding of sustainability.
About our institution
About our institution
We are delighted to welcome you to the Youth Cultural Centre in Toruń, located in the very heart of Toruń’s Old Town – a place with a unique history and an incomparable atmosphere. We are a dynamic institution dedicated to creative education and the development of children and young people. Our centre supports artistic expression, nurtures social skills, and promotes informal learning experiences for over 1,000 young people from primary and secondary schools.
As an active member of the Erasmus+ community, we are proud of our long-standing tradition of international cooperation. For more than 14 years, we have been running Erasmus+ projects that bring together young people from different countries, allowing them to exchange ideas, develop skills, and build cultural bridges.
Through international collaboration, we organize workshops, performances, exhibitions, and ecological initiatives that foster creativity, teamwork, and civic engagement. Our activities include artistic workshops in visual arts, theatre, and music, as well as community projects that connect art with social and environmental themes.
Our centre is not only a place to gain knowledge but also a community where values such as respect, cooperation, and personal growth form the foundation of everyday life. We believe that learning together enriches young people’s experiences and helps shape a better, more inclusive future for everyone.

🚂 Train
If you are arriving at Chopin Airport in Warsaw, you need to take bus number 175 from the airport and go to the City Centre (you can buy a ticket on the bus, payment by card accepted).
From there, take a train to Toruń.

🕞 It is takes around 2:10 minuts.
🪙 Kost is about 50 zł per person/depends on when I book tikets. The closer the departure, the prices may rise slightly.
🚌 FLIXBUS
Prises are also depends on the time when You book:

🚂 Train
If you are arriving at Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport, you need to take a PKM train (Pomeranian Metropolitan Railway) directly from the airport terminal to Gdańsk Wrzeszcz or Gdańsk Główny railway station.
From there, take a train to Toruń.

🕞 It takes around 3–4 hours in total (including the transfer).
🪙 Cost is about 60–100 zł per person, depending on when you book the tickets. The closer the departure date, the prices may rise slightly.
🚌 FLIXBUS
You can also take a direct FlixBus from Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport to Toruń. Prices also depend on when you book:
🕞 It takes about 3–3.5 hours.
🪙 Cost per person is about 45–55 zł, but may rise slightly depending on availability.
🚎 Private transport company
